Tsuda Kura
The “Tsuda Kura” is a renovated warehouse belonging to a machiya townhouse that was once a confectionery shop, built in 1914. Visitors can feel the history of the building through the earthen walls that still bear the marks of preparing Japanese sweets, and the massive beams that support the storehouse. While utilizing the structure of the warehouse, the small Japanese-style room, the ceiling beams with a strong presence, and the atmospheric round bath give the room a modern feel. The house can accommodate up to six guests in total, but when combined with the "main house," it can accommodate up to 14 guests. The spacious earthen floor at the entrance has a kitchen attached to it, where you can cook what you wish.
